Anyone running the summit? How are you liking it? And, what pad and bag/quilt are you using in it?

I have one and I love it! Total kit is 5# almost on the money.

Fast deploy, fast tear down, more roomy than a bivy!

Sea to summit spark bag and thermarest neoair xlite pad!

It seems like a canvas tarp would serve the same purpose and only cost $30.00

Not hardly. The Summit has its own pole system and a bug net sewn in. A canvas tarp has neither and would weigh more.

Just keep an eye on the SlingFin website. They're the ones who SG licenses their designs from.
