Caribou

Have any of you guys tried a Canadian Caribou hunt? Any recommendations for outfitters for Caribou and Elk? Thought I would try in Canada since no point system in most places there. I am too old to ever accumulate enough points to get a good draw area out West. Alaska is a great place to hunt and have done a couple hunts there and want to do more but the bookings are very far out for lot of the best areas. Any recommendations and info would help.

In the same boat, would like to do a caribou hunt in the near future. Wondering what I can expect for price of the hunt, trophy fees, airfare for meat, etc.

You may find a hunt for mountain caribou but most of the barren ground caribou herds are gone. This site is one of your better choices to search for ideas to hunt a rapidly dwindling resource. Before long, I expect to hear cries to put caribou on the endangered species list.
