Carter Wise Choice- Short Axle Bow?

Thinking of switching from a trigger to thumb release and was looking at the Carter Wise Choice. just read online somewhere that the release does not work well with short axle bows (I shoot 30 inches). Is this true? On another forum it said go with the too simple. Any input appreciated.

I have a Stan tension release and Carter Wise Choice for hunting. The ATA on my carbon spyder is 33. I don’t shoot the wise choice to often so I can stay in concentrating on aiming and pulling. Buuuuut, I’m very happy with the release. It’s adjustable and ergonomically sound. Very clean release.

Unless your ATA is 20 inches and DL 32,I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know why it would make a difference. One of my bows is 30ATA shooting at 29 inches and I shoot the wise choice no issues. The nock of the arrow is going to be wider than the jaw.
