I’m sure this has been discussed and if so point me in the right direction but does anyone have experience with the blacksmith family K cup press. I’ve got a moose hunt coming up and I’m looking hard at this thing

I’ve never used that but I have a Aeropress for many years, it’s the same concept but with regular ground coffee.

It makes great coffee so I’m sure this will as well

Pre-dawn coffee is a tolerable instant.
If we have time for good coffee we do pour-over.
This is our favorite.

Slightly heavy but compact.

+1 on the aeropress; grind coffee ahead of time and measure it out into 15g bags, use the inverted method and fill er up

Same. I use the Brcc or Starbucks ones and they are pretty great. When I worked in Alaska I used to bring a portable French press on the boat every am while heading down or up river and that was pretty amazing too but pretty cumbersome

You can get a big pack of Starbucks Via packets at Costco.

I’m a big fan of the Moka Express stove top espresso makers. Plus, you can cold over coals.
