Hello. I need to replace my old school Danner Pronghorns with some new mountain boots. I am primarily hunting 3rd season (Oct 31-Nov 7) Colorado Mule Deer in pretty steep country. 8500-10,000' elevation. I am looking at a good all around boot that doesn't get too warm on the mild days but also will keep my feet from freezing in colder temps. We will be staying in the mountains for 4-6 days. So far I am really leaning towards the Crispi Guide with 200 grams of insulation. Others I have considered were the Zamberlin brand. Any information or recommendations appreciated. I have tried the Crispis on did fit my foot really well. Thanks in advance.
