I’ve been wearing the lapponias since the year they were released. I love them and use them from early to late season. The problem is their durability, i burn through a pair every other season sometimes not even that. The piece of webbing in the corner of the boot that locks your heal in shears in half from the friction of the laces (why they don’t put an eyelet or a hook there is beyond me).
Things i like about the crispis:
They have a rand, good torsional stability, light weight, perfect flexibility for archery season stalking and just stiff enough to hit the high country. I also prefer leather outers over full synthetic, they seem to hold up well side hilling.

Im leaning towards the scarpa zodiac plus.
I also had a pair of lowa renegades and really liked them and they held up, the fit just wasn’t quite there.

Anyone have any similar recommendations, experience or sizing advice?
Thanks guys
