probably on the site somewhere but i just got this from swaro tech support.
"If the serial number begins with 90 it would have been manufactured in 2020. You take 1930 and add the first 2 numbers of the serial number and it gives you the year of manufacture. "

I've always taken the first two numbers and added "30" to it to get the date of manufacture.

Yes. I learned it on here as well. Third and fourth numbers 01-52 are which week of that year manufacture stating with 01 being first week of january.
