I have been debating buying a promos bow sling for awhile to protect stings/cables and cams while I pack my bow around but why buy one when you can make it!?!

After a few days of sewing, few more days of planning, and a lot of coffee, I came up with this. I went off of the design of the bow slings I've seen like the primos and changed a few things I didn't like.

I used 1000d waterproof cordura, straps and foam from an old pack, p-cord, thread, a little hot glue for the foam, and granny's sewing machine to build it. My sewing is pretty crappy so it's not pretty but it works.

Sorry for the bad cell phone pics...

I ran a length of p-cord around the edge as a drawstring rather than elastic so it will last longer and stay tight.

I put foam on the three sides around the cams to protect from bumps and drops.

Loops at the end for shoulder strap. (Scalped off of under armour duffel bag)

I also added this carry strap so I can take the shoulder strap off.

It was a super fun project to do. A pair of gaiters is next on the list if I get bored again.

Looks good. Can't find one that fits my Hoyt Vantage Pro, might have put one together. Thanks for sharing.
