Dog names

Didn't see a dog name thread, just for fun.

Hunting (or family) dog names...whatcha got.

I've had/have a Duke, Barkley, Bubba (all labs), Clayton (Coonhound), Oakley (retriever) and Max (non-hunting husky)

I really like onX. My dog's name is Remington. Remi or Rem in the field.

I've had a Jack (english pointer), Sadie(english/german pointer cross), Doc, Bo, Tug, Chev (4 labs) Tink and Gator (cur/airedale cross). I currently have Sophie (kemmer/leopard cur cross) and Jinx (catahoula/blue lacy). My hunting transitioned from upland with my dad, to waterfowl for a while to now having decoy/trapline dogs.

Jack who was replaced with Hank. I call him Jack way too much on accident. I see why Miss Kay reuses the same dog name.

I would add that this dog was extremely high bred from Super Chief 3 time national champion and River Oaks Corky 7 time national champion with I think total of 32 champions and like 17 national champions, I got him working all summer helping the old man that bred him at the retriever club as a Sophmore in High School.

The old man ending up having a heart attack while he and my grandpa were training one day. Mid 1990's.

I have a female GSP called Belle. Getting a male Vizsla pup next year. Going to call him Goose.
Lost one of my Vizla's a year ago this week. She died two days before her 8th birthday. I've been thinking about her all week. Her name was Finley.

Ruger and shadow were the dogs that were not named by my dad. My dad, who grows trees for a living and graduated with a horticultural degree, named two of our dogs ilex and zelchova.
