I'm new to mule deer hunting. Since I don't have the opportunity to spend as much time as I would like in the mountains observing mule deer, like others I have been trying to learn as much as I can through online sources, books and e-scouting. I'm happy for an suggestions on sources but my main question here is if it's worth buying the book below, or this book more of an academic read? Thanks, Moro

I would read Robby’s books, and Dwight Schuh’s “Hunting open country mule deer”

I also enjoyed Ryan Hatfields books on Idaho mule deer, you can glean a lot of info from those stories

Just finished Robby’s book, and I’ve also read Dwight schuh’s book. Both are great reads and invaluable information.
