Encore or devoted ML

I’ve got an Encore and few barrels left along with the .50 muzzleloader, it shoots and kills elk just fine.
It’s heavier than some devoted ml’s and I’m toying with the idea of selling the encore and getting something else.
Please share any advice or ideas you have, I’m all ears.

I'd keep it. I've owned three ML's (still own two) and they are all heavy compared to my bolt-action centerfire rifles.

I just know a few other devoted ml’s are 1-2 lbs lighter than the encore.

Keep the Encore AND get yourself a traditional flintlock rifled for round balls!

personally I would keep it. but 2 pounds is a lot and would have me thinkin...that is about as good as an excuse as you can find.

then there is the recoil to consider.

I like my encore and have shot a knight some but don't think it had a 2 lb weight saving.

Dump it. Get a Dedicated muzzle loader.

Thanks for the input, still doing some thinking, if I sell it, what are muzzle loaders to check out?
Right now, for inline, I'm considering TC triumph and CVA accura v2.
Anything else I should be looking at?
