Excited to finally get out and go

I moved to Colorado last year from WA and missed out on hunting either state. This year I put in for easy draws so that I can get my feet wet and cut my teeth rather than hold out and miss out all together. I drew a 0 pt archery mule deer and am excited to give it a try. I hope everyone else is able to do something too even if it's not your first plan!

Drew a buck tag in my usual haunts, but I am thinking of turning it in depending on if there are left over deer tags for unit out east since I am moving that direction, we'll see.

Still waiting on results for my first draw attempts in Idaho. But I am going to scout those areas this weekend. Luck (and annoying everyone I know) has it that I have a buddy with a cabin right dead center of the two units I applied for. Now to find out what beer he likes most....
