Finally caught up to a good one

I’ve been looking for this deer since the October opener down here in south texas. He’s been coming to 3 different setups mostly at night, only in the last two weeks has he showed up in the daylight. This morning I was set up well before daylight over a little creek bottom that was holding water. He was the first deer I saw as the morning got light. Made a good shot and heard him crash about 60 yards away. Got to enjoy the rest of the morning watching a great 3 1/2 year old 9 point that is super impressive. Can’t wait to see what next season brings.
