First Mule Deer Buck/Archery Kill

This is my second year archery hunting mule deer in Oregon.

I hiked into an area on Friday that I've hunted/scouted for a few years.

Got really lucky on Sunday and this buck walked 30 yards past me in some dark timber. I was surprised to see a velvet buck in the timber walking around at 11:00 AM

Thanks to Robby Denning who's book kept reminding me to slow down while still hunting timber. Luckily i was moving slow enough and had the wind right, the buck never knew I was there.

Got him out in 1 trip with my camp, a good pack makes ALL the difference.

I dont normally share or post much, but God really blessed me with this deer and i wanted to share some pictures
