I would say open the battery compartment and take a look should be your first move ........

Well, the pic does clear that up a bit ...Batteries come in different sizes, AA, AAA one of those sizes should work for ya.

AA was too tight to fit and AAA rolled around, would you know if there is a tray piece that is supposed to sit on that white part?

It could be possibly, i looked on the Foxpro site and didn't see anything for that remote. give them a call @ 717-248-2507 and see what they have to say.

Most Foxpro remotes are 9v. Should have probably figured that out when there were no neg/pos on both sides.
