Franchi Affinity 3 26” barrel with patternmaster code black turkey scalarworks sync/01 trijicon rmr and Remington nitro 3” 4 shot. Wow lots of typing haha, this setup is designed for tss I just wanted to get everything lined up and on paper before I get my Tss in so I patterned at 25 and 45 and figured I’d share my results. 25 I wouldn’t think twice, 45 shit fell completely apart. I shot another round at 45 (no picture) held about .75-1.25 inches higher and had a better pattern on the tape. Will update this thread with Apex 3” #9 Tss when I get it in. If anyone is running same setup and wants patterns with different shells let me know.

Ok finally got around to pattering the Apex #9 12 ga rounds. Franchi Affinity 3 12 ga 26” with Patternmaster Code Black Turkey and rmr.

25 yards and two 50 yards side by side. (I adjusted 1 moa up and two left )

That shot is no joke! I hand load mine in 20ga, have shot 9s mostly but 9.5s and 7.5s where it was the smallest legal shot.

Incredibly consistent and lethal!

Yea it’s really eye opening. I wanted to shoot 25,30,40,50 and 60 but with a ripped chest I was hurting bad after 3 shots

I also shoot Apex TSS but in a Benelli 20ga. that I carry because of its light weight. Some of the birds I’ve shot were inside 20 yards so just remember you’ll have a real tight pattern and when that pattern is the size of a tennis ball it can be easy to completely miss that head and neck. Your setup will kill turkeys all day long. Good luck.
