I decided to do a little inventory and interested in what others report on what is (or isn't) made in the USA.

my pack (Seek Outside) is made in the US
rifle is a Kimber, US; scope Leupold US; rings Talley US
sleeping bag- Feathered Friends US
pad- Thermarest Xtherm US

water bottles- Nalgene US
puffy jacket and pants (sadly no longer making Apex insulated garments, but still makes down ones)- Nunatak US; also a lighter Apex pair made by Enlightened Equipment- US
bino harness- FHF US
socks- Darn Tough US
knives- Tyto and Charles May- both US

sadly the rest of my clothing is made elsewhere (US companies but manufactured elsewhere)
shelter- have two TarpTents (solo and a two person) sewn overseas; also a Hilleberg (UK)
my stove & pot are MSR but looking them up, made outside of the USA
my tripod is an US company (Aziak) but made outside the US
binos/spotter are Swaros (Austria)
inReach is made in Tawain
boots- Crispi- Italy (my pacs though are made in the US though- Schnees! :))
trekking poles & headlamps- Black Diamond, but made elsewhere

what say you?

Are you sure about those TarpTent's? Most of their DCF's are listed as "Globally Sourced" and manufactured in China. US made DCF but assembled in China is what they currently state for your Aeon Li. My Notch Li is the same as with several of the other Li tents I checked. I'm not knocking TarpTent specifically as I think this is common with DCF tents in general from other mfg's as well.

RRS tripods
Kirk ARCA plates and clamps
Outdoorsmans tripod and tripod heads
El Coyote quilt
Thermarest pad
Kelbly actions
Bat actions
Defiance actions
Bartlein barrels
Krieger barrels
Lilja barrels
Shilen barrels
Talley rings
APA rings
Badger Ord rings
Badger Ord rails
Murphy Prec rails
Hyperlite DCF bags
Kifaru game bags

Yeah, it's a problem. I wish it was easier.
How many of the "Made in USA" things that you listed are made from U.S. sourced materials? Probably not too many. Have to just be happy if some/most of the money you spend is going to U.S. companies/workers. Even if that's an Amazon delivery driver, and Jeff Bezos atleast it's something.

Pack, bino harness, rifle, scope, knife, tripod, and my Cimmaron all made is USA. None of my merino wool is, by choice. None of my clothes are...and my boots, Schnees, are made in Italy.

Forgot to add my suppressor, Rugged is made in USA. I reload my own ammo so it is made in the USA as well.

Tarptent are sewn in the US, I'll count that as made in the USA :D I think all dcf (and many other fabrics) is sourced overseas?????

I think the US does pretty well w/ rifles/ammo/knives/hunting packs and sleeping bags- boots, clothing, optics they could do better.

They say the opposite of that at least for the Li (DCF) models. USA made DCF but produced in China.

"The Li model you’re viewing is fabricated from USA-made Dyneema® fabric and produced in China at one of the world’s leading tent manufacturing facilities and home to many of the world’s major tent brands."

Just my pack frame. My bow is mostly made here from what I can tell (Pse). Old leatherman but that stays in the truck or at camp. Knife is made in Sweden, at least it’s a friendly country?

What is LS wild gear?
www.lswild.com We make soft goods, several popular items with Roksliders. Our most popular is the Triple S Pillow. We have been around for a few years, and looking to keep growing.

I can't even imagine how this is possible. Even without trying you're bound to pick up at least one made in USA item.
I went back through and realized I do have a few items that are USA made.
-KOA knife
-Darn Tough Socks
-Leatherman
-Silencerco Suppressor
-Ruger/KAC rifles

Most of my stuff is from an American company but made overseas.

I’m embarrassed to say not much, other than survival stuff and gun/scope. Maybe my underwear are assembled here, but I’ll bet all the materials are foreign sourced.

Sure makes you think.
