I had some custom down pants made by Goose Feet Gear and I just don't use them like I thought I would. They are in great shape. No rips, tears, smells, stains, snags, etc. Never been on a hunt. I posted my order confirmation below, which includes my measurements. If your measurements are much greater than those, you risk not being able to layer under them. I am 5' 11" 165lbs and I wear small to medium pants depending on the brand. 30" waist x 32" inseam.
Since they are a custom made garment, I'll compare them to Stone Glacier Grumman pants just to give some perspective.
Pants are very, very warm. Based on the fill weight, GFG rates them at -20F
