Welcome, I do live in the San Francisco Bay area I know what you’re talking about. Not sure where you live but there is a pheasant clubs up near Rio Vista that could be A good place to take your kids for the first time. That is if you’re into hunting upland game. You need to be a member to take them out there but I’d be willing to meet you and have you walk along and see if we can get some pheasants with me and my dogs.

I haven’t hunted deer in the other big game to this point but I’ve been applying for tags so at some point I’ll be getting out more in the field but don’t have any good ideas for you there.
