As Tim noted short limbs on the pole I also added these on two sides but have not tried yet but believe they will work very good you can then run a tight line and wrap around pole

I have been using this setup for years in my Ti Goat tipi. It's just aluminum rod stock from the hardware store. Put a bend in one end and use 2 hose clamps to attach it to the center pole. I put rods down low for socks, hats, and gloves and rods up high for coats and pants. Bring some clothes pins.

I have a 2ft long PVC pipe with a cap that I slip over the center pole for my tipi shelter. I have a bunch of holes drilled in it. I then have some thing guage wire I bend into s-hooks and put them into the holes. I hang stuff off the hooks. I like that everything is up high out of the way and where most the heat is....
