Hello from Texas. I love hunting and recently move to Texas. Hunting here is much different. I’m used to having lots of public land to hunt. Guess I have some learning to do.

The lack of public land in Texas was new to me as well. If you have not already, get to know the 'Texas Public Hunt System' draws. limited options, but some good hunts to be had. My kids drew a amazing South Texas hunt just today.

Nice! I'm in the early stages of planning my first western hunt. Mostly focusing on Wyoming or Colorado, but have heard good things about New Mexico too.
