I have my suspicions, does anyone else have thoughts on what this may be? No cows in this area

I would love for that to be the case, but unless CA DFW is hiding something, they claim there’s no moose in CA

I don’t have a lot of personal experience with them but I would guess hog based on the shape. Something in the photo for scale would help.

I think it’s a pig. I just googled pig tracks and it looks pretty similar.

Hard to tell without a size reference but it looks like a moo cow to me.

Ima say cow. Need something to reference the size. Could be a pig if it’s smaller than it appears. Pig and cow tracks look very similar except for size.

If not for it being in CA, I would have said moose. Probably not a pig, not pointy enough at the front of the toes.

Where in CA? Likely an elk.
