Help me find new boots

Im looking for a new pair of boots for elk hunting. My old pair of LaCrosse Adamas are wearing out.

Below is the criteria

Must be ALL LEATHER [no gore-tex at all] - 8" high - Lace up - non-Insulated

Decent hiking tread

Look at Kenetrek, specifically their mountain line up. Top notch boots but not cheap. However, you get what you pay for.

Zamberlan also makes quality mountain boots

I don't even check or notice if a boot has Goretex or not, that's just not important to me. I'm trying out some new Zamberlan Leopard's right now.......their Lynx would be the same in an 8" version. But they're coming out with a new Lynx soon, so they may have their old ones at discount when they do.

Zamberlan has a non GTX leather lined boot out now, called the 961 Guide RR LL.

Do your feet run skinny or wide?

My feet are a little wide. The Lowa Tibets fit me perfect.
