Holster for S&W 329pd

Full disclosure: I am a bowhunter. So I am looking for help in finding the most comfortable/easy-to-use holster to make wearing this sidearm easy. I bought the .44.

I have a hunt on Kodiak in a couple weeks and it is the only firearm I will have. I want something that I can wear either on my hip or around my thigh, so that I can have my pack on and have it accessible while climbing through the alders.

Any help or personal experience is appreciated.

I would recommend a Kydex type holster in a Hill People Gear Kit Bag. I use one for my 10mm Glock and it works well with a pack. It keeps the gun off of your hip and is very accessible from any position.

wore my glock 10mm for 10 days out west and did it in comfort wearing my pack,taking it (my pack) off and on many times a day, my view was I wanted it available at all times, dam nice holster
