For your viewing pleasure here is a 240 grain XTP recovered this morning. It was running 2165 out of a 445 super mag I expected a blow up but it held up very well.

Surprised you recovered it. Ive never recovered any bullet fired from my 44 mag rifle except for a 300gr xtp that did not expand. Shot a doe in the chest facing me and found it near the pelvis.

Looked like your bullet did a fantastic job though.

What was the distance?
