Hornhunter Mainbeam

I am considering a Hornhunter Mainbeam pack for eastern whitetail hunting. The main draw for me seems to be the ability to pack sticks in the batwing and also the ability to pack a deer out if needed. I’m curious to hear any opinions or potential recommendations of other similar packs.

I am considering a Hornhunter Mainbeam pack for eastern whitetail hunting. The main draw for me seems to be the ability to pack sticks in the batwing and also the ability to pack a deer out if needed. I’m curious to hear any opinions or potential recommendations of other similar packs.

I’ve been using the Mystery Ranch Terraframe 50 this year for whitetails. I can put my hang in stand between the frame and bag and then I hang my sticks on straps on the outside.

I have also packed out whole 3 deer with it so far this season.

I use a mainbeam in down here in FL. Its ok for what you are thinking but there are packs that handle heavy weight much better. The MR pop-ups, terraframe, sawtooth or any one of a number of Kifaru packs. Packing out a decent buck is heavy
