Horseback elk hunt in Canada

I would like to go on a horseback elk hunt in Canada. I used Cabelas 30 years ago and was satisifed. I believe WTA bought out Cabelas and after reading some comments, am afraid to use them. Has anybody used them for elk hunts or does anybody have a good outfitter that they would recommend in BC or Alberta for a horseback-tent hunt?

I’ve hunted moose with Elk Valley Bighorn Outfitters a few times and they offer horseback elk hunts. Very good outfit. Their area is in the heart of the Canadian Rockies (SE BC), some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen.

Did you hunt the West Fork or Quarrie Creek outfitter? What's the difference?
