Howa 300 Win Mag

Good Morning!

I was wondering if there are any Howa 300 win mag owners that would care to share what ammunition they have had success with? Factory or hand loads would be appreciated. Mine seems to be extremely picky and I'm trying to figure out where to go next.

190 grain match king over 76 grains of h1000 can’t rember the coal but I measure off the Lee I dive gauge and use Redding master does so they load the same gun shoots somewhere between .6-.75 depending on what I do pushing around 2950 with it

I couldn’t get any of the 215 Berger or Hornady to stabilize with that 1-10 twist my best group with a Berger at 100 was like the size of a chew can

Yeah, struggled with the 190 VLD.....I had one load that was Sub MOA but it was really slow. I'm going to try the 200 Grain accubond here shortly.....hoping maybe I can find a node around 2800-2850.

Mine shoots pretty well for what I’m into it for been debating on chopping my barrel to 18” and trying to build a 180 eol load for it I shoot it suppressed the length is horrible
