looking for a hike/hunting pants that is light like jeans but hydrophobic for morning dew or heavy vegetation. I have rain gear, but am looking for a everyday pants. I do not need them to be in a camo pattern as the hunting I do doesn't require it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

For morning dew in knee high (or less) vegetation I would recommend getting gaiters. Unless wearing a truly waterproof layer you are going to get wet no matter what while walking through vegetation that is wet. If you don't mind getting wet the prana stretch zions are nice and they dry pretty quick. If you go the gaiter route I like the Kuiu yukon gaiter and have heard good things about Outdoor Research Crocodiles, both of which come in solid colors.
