Kinda, maybe barely.

It’s a simple task to look at some hunts with low tag numbers and high applications and just look at how many years it would take to just give one year’s applicants all a tag for the hunt and that’s assuming no one new ever enters the pool.

They’re also a total losing game for anyone new to hunting or that didn’t get in on the ground floor.

Point creep. You can start buying points now for certain hunts that you could never draw in your lifetime. But states are more than willing to keep taking your money.
