Idaho Unit 11

[Deadly Pursuit]

Looking for any advice for Idaho Unit 11 for whitetail before I start scouting this summer. Thanks and any advice helps and I will be putting my boots on the ground this summer

Most of the public ground in unit 11 is more known for its mule deer (draw only). That being said there are whitetail there just fewer of them in the public ground.

You think they’re up in the timber or more down in the flats? Thanks

You may find them in the canyon but probably more from the river breaks up. Not sure if you’ve ever been in that country but once you break into the canyon there’s not much “flats”.

I have hunted this unit for white tails every year for the last 10 years. I have shot 2 bucks. I rarely even see deer. I hunt it b/c it’s close to my house. I would pick a different unit if I were you. I will be hunting a new unit this year.
