Curious how the premium tag hunt went. As an Oregon resident I always enjoy hearing some Oregon elk hunting stories. I remembered reading this before season and was just wondering what the end of the story was!

Curious how the premium tag hunt went. As an Oregon resident I always enjoy hearing some Oregon elk hunting stories. I remembered reading this before season and was just wondering what the end of the story was!

The area these elk were in ended up being closed due to the drought and high risk for fires this fall. My buddy's son ended up killing a nice 310" velvet 6x6 opening day. A friend of an old hunting partner ended up killing a 340" 7x7 a couple of hundred yards from my camera during rifle season and he almost had a shot at the bull I originally posted pictures of, I had lots of pictures of his bull for him.
