Hey all, I’m a midwesterner that has done a lot of eastern diy whitetail hunting trips but never anything out west yet. Long story short - I have an amazing job money wise, but our busy season is Sept 15- Thanksgiving. Taking time off during this time is discouraged and even if it wasn’t I make about 40% of my annual commissions during this time. I’m looking for solid hunting options for Dec-Jan timeframe. I know about Mulies/Coues in Arizona and NM, but am wondering if anyone has suggestions for those types of hunts or something else. It doesn’t have to be DIY, I’m good with going the outfitter route as well. I know a lot of guys chase ducks this time of year but I’m just not a waterfowl guy. Shoot I’m thinking I might even have to look at Argentina for stag.
