Kifaru Koala Lite Questions

I have been using a Hill People Gear kit bag for the last couple of years and am really happy with it, but moving to grizzly country has me carrying a larger framed longer barreled revolver which doesn't fit in the kit bag. I have a 5.5" barreled .44 super blackhawk and a 6" barreled s&w model 19 that I am looking for a way to carry. I would like to find a similar chest pack/holster. Will these revolvers fit in a Koala lite? What was the largest revolver you fit in you koala lite. Also, the koala is huge. Does it interfere with your pack straps?

I have a KU Koala I believe the gun section is the same size as the Lite and I can manage a 6 1/2 in. M29 so I would think you would be all set. I don't have any problems with pack straps.

Thanks for the reply Robbie. Is their enough room to be able to easily open the pack? I can stuff my super blackhawk in my kit bag, but it won't open easily.

I don't notice any difference between the 29 and my glocks or 1911s.
