Konus Optics Thoughts/Reviews?

Looking for a new rifle scope and happened to see that cameraland ny has a good deal on a couple Konus Optics, the one I was looking at was a
KonusPro LZ-30. Does anyone have experience with these?

I have a 3x9 with blackpowder reticle on a ML, and have a spotting scope for highpower/vintage matches. The spotting scopes were very popular in CMP and NRA Highpower circles. For the money, the spotting scope is excellent, and although I don't like the reticle and changed out for a duplex - 3x9 had good clarity glass for a 80 dollar scope. They are eropean optics, Italian I think - and seem well made but are heavy compared to others.
