One in the classifieds right now. Ive been looking at this scope pretty hard. Kowa was selling them new at the Sheep Show for a big discount. I go to the show every year so im waiting to see if they have them disounted again this year.

It seems to have great glass for it's size. Side by side with my Kowa 664, however, the 664 has often been just a bit better even though the 554 has the pure fluorite objective lens. A larger objective will always tend to gather more light and resolve better than a smaller objective. At 44oz, the 664 is hard to beat (way lighter than Swaro and way cheaper and many say they run neck and neck). But there's pros and cons when comparing each of the Kowa's--weight, field of view at lowest magnification of 15x on 554 vs 20x on 664 (easier to look at a hillside at 15x than 20x), size (easier to pack 554 and it will be more stable on a tripod, etc.). I'm guessing on my harder hunts further from the rig, the 554 will be in the pack, but the 664 is really hard to beat for the $.

S&S archery is better with $1499 sale price with the rokslide discount even if you add the cover. My buddy got his and the $200 neoprene cover for $1528. Looks like its $1461 with the $125 cover.
