Anyone one have any affordable muzzleloader that they recommend for this upcoming season. I have a few online muzzleloders but nothing that follow montana rules yet. Thanks for the help.

If your looking for a used traditional muzzleloader, you might try one of the muzzleloader specific forums like muzzleloadingforum.com. You can find a T/C Renegade, Hawken, New Englander etc. or something from CVA or Lyman. Your probably looking between $400 - $600.

There are a few companies still making traditional muzzleloaders like Traditions. Your kinda limited in selection when purchasing a new one though.

Hit up pawn shops. Just make sure you check the bore on ANY used muzzleloader. Black powder and substitutes are rough on improperly cleaned or maintained muzzleloaders
