All,
I have a wilderness hunt at high elevations in NW Wyoming. I have bought the new down clothing from Black Ovis for glassing and am looking into what to wear over them for long horseback rides.
My thought was to wear tough rain pants over the down pants to block the wind/snow and brush that may be encountered.
I am also thinking about an oilskin poncho for brush protection and snow/wind and rain protection on the top half.
Long rides in the very cold snow are challenging me .... thoughts?
