Learning to call elk

I bought the black set, three calls so far. Learning the 1 and following the hizzzz as recommended by the above video, getting better and pretty close to not gagging anymore. Please feel free to post any more beginner tips as I work through this process, hoping to ML hunt this year and might be helpful. I appreciate all the help thus far and I'm looking at the elknut app and the Roe resources as well. Please share any pros/cons to either as two daughters with celiac is killing my wallet.
