Leupold BX-5

Trying to decide on binos and have lots of questions about the BX-5 and can’t find any reviews or anyone using them. I think the bx-4 is decent but doesn’t have the edge to edge clarity I’m wanting. I can’t get the BX-5s for about 1000$. Anyone use them?

I personally didn't see much difference between them and the BX4, but I admit all I could do was look through them inside TTHA a couple of weeks ago.

I have the bx4’s and just recently upgraded to the meopta meostars and they blow the doors off the Leopolds, for 1000 it’s hard to beat the meoptas

you posted a while ago, hopefully this is still relevant. I looked at 10 pairs of binos for the last week and the BX-5's were one pair of 10x42s I checked out. All at the $1000 price point. To be honest, they were the first to go back. To start with they came in 4 oz over spec and that was one of the primary things I wanted them for. Second, the Zeiss conquest, meostar, meopro, razor HD, Nikon HG were all optically superior IMO. Hope that helps. For the record the Zeiss were the best optically and I felt the razors to be the best value....hoping to do a full write up shortly.
