I bought this scope per the description “like new”. As new isn’t what showed up. Scratches on the scope body and a scratch on the rear lens. It appeared he used a muddy glove to clean the lenses as the pictures show when I in packaged it. I sent him a message of my dissatisfaction and as you see he blames me for not asking better questions on an item that’s listed “like new. I reported him and was instructed to ask fir my money back and I did. His response is in the pictures that I’ll provide. You can form your own opinions on this but hopefully the OP decides to do the right thing but doesn’t seem like that’ll be the case.

Lots of drama. Sounds like you paid with PayPal. Just file a dispute if you have to. Seller provided lots of pics. That’s a plus.

It looks like he offered to refund your money once he received the scope back. Are you not wanting to return it for a refund anymore?

I was only able to read what you posted so I'm not alluding to either of them being in the right or wrong, just saying that according to the screen shots posted it looks like he was willing to provide a refund. Hopefully they can resolve the situation as it looks like neither of them are new members.

Hopefully they can resolve the situation as it looks like neither of them are new members.
Later on in the posts/screenshots the seller says "you know what just keep it; you get what you pay for..." insinuating that he was no longer going to accept a return.

Seems like a deceptive sale. It def ain’t ‘like new’ and looks like he purposely didn’t send pics of the defects.

Then again, I once had to refund a guy for some defect only he could see lol. I got it back and still couldn’t see the ‘delamination’ he said it had, at least not with my naked eyes.

Dispute with PP. That scope doesn't look anything "like new." And sending it with a stripped out scope ring, never mentioned in the ad, is poor form.
