Sorry for another thread, but I’m looking for a bit of help. Looking for a guided hunt in either Colorado or New Mexico. Wanting to go rifle season. Taking a good friend of mine who is helping me with a project and this is going to be my gift to him. He and I have been to Colorado and tried DIY backpack hunts with no success. Any help would be appreciated very much.

I had budgeted $6k a guy, plus tip for guide and what not.

We are not picky. We have been twice to Colorado, stayed in Chama New Mexico and then drove into Colorado and walked in. All we really want to do is get on some elk. We do not care about shooting the next state or world record bull. I would just like to take one with my buddy.
