Manners mini chassis bedding

Just picked up a new manners stock with the mini chassis, is there any reason to bed these or just bolt in and go? If you have gone without bedding how has it preformed over time?any Loss of zero when taking the action out of the stock or bumping the rifle around?

Does the arca plate make carrying the rifle or holding it off hand awkward at all?

Nope not one bit, I was worried about that as well but it is so flush that it’s hardly noticeable , it’s a very well thought out stock imo

I’ve heard of some people skim bedding them, with it improving accuracy, not planning on doing that with mine unless 100% needed

They had 5 in stock this last week, if you keep checking different sites you should be able to pick one up without having to wait

Yeah try it yourself I guess. I just bolted mine in and it shoots well. If I was going to bed it I would have saved the 6 ounces and just done pillars

I thought the whole point of the mini chassis was to not need bedding? Other than this, and the ability to switch between same-platform rifles that is somewhat inherent without the bedding, what benefit would there be in getting a mini chassis in the first place?
