Matching brake finish to blued barrel

Best way to do this? BC Perma Blue?

Matching blueing is not easy for the home shop. The surface finish has to be polished to the same finish as the barrel. Nitre, rust and salt all produce different blues. If you have a cerakote applicator around, they might be your best match. You can cold blue....but it doesn't last very long or look the same.
