Missouri Approves Bear Season

Great news out of Missouri! They’ve joined Arkansas and Oklahoma in holding bear a bear season, so the entire Interior Highlands now has a huntable population of bears.
They were pretty much wiped out in this part of the country by the 30s but were reintroduced 60 years ago to Arkansas, and have been gradually expanding their range ever since.

That is good to hear. It has been on the news several times this year of bears traveling through parts of Illinois

Oh wow. My family has a farm in SW Missouri but I'm pretty sure I don't qualify for a resident permit. Need to export some of that common sense to Florida. We very much have a huntable population here.
