We walked about 2.5 miles back in after we spotted from the top of a butte. But yeah the pack out was real tough about a 10 ft drag lol. Always helps to have good relationships with the landowners. Haven’t put a tape to him yet.

Nice heavy horned buck, congrats. Ultimately the most important thing is that you harvested a animal for the freezer and didn't wound any animals in the process.

Thanks. He was on a private ranch but we seen a lot of good deer on public throughout the week.
