Just so you're aware, I also applied with that strategy as a non resident hoping to draw several times and now I'm sitting on 7 points in Nevada..granted, I haven't been putting in the second draw either. You will prob be lucky and draw, but I can't seem to get a Nevada mule deer tag. Just be prepared to be disappointed.

I hope so too! I do have to validate this with the fact that I did get an early archery tag in unit 10 many years ago. Once I got up to 5 points I started putting in for slightly tougher draws. I hunt multiple states so it hasn’t been a big deal. Just letting the OP know that it isn’t a slam dunk to get drawn right away.
