I drew NV early season archery tag

It is highly likely that I won’t get to go on this hunt. So should I keep the tag and hope life’s schedule opens up or should I send it back and get the points?
I had zero points going in.
I can’t get a refund so the money is gone either way.
Thoughts? I have 2 days to decide.
