Newbie from WI with western aspirations

Grew up in MN, current resident of WI, long time lurker. Picked up bowhunting a few years ago and starting to look into expanding my hunting experiences out west. Getting out there for the first time this August on a week long backpacking trip in Northern Utah, and will be looking for a pack that could be used for both 5-7 backpacking and backcountry hunting adventures. I understand there are quite a few great options out there, but any tips or things to think about are welcome!
