Sold Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 Illuminated MOAR reticle

Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 C610 model. Used about 5 hunting seasons and just came back from Nightforce for an inspection, illumination repair, and replaced elevation turret due to some corrosion. The glass is in excellent condition but scope body has some scratches as seen in the photos.

How do the elevation turrets work on this one? Looks like they are capped.

Yes, they are capped but quickly removable if you want to dial which is what I’ve always done with this scope. I believe the reasoning on the 3-10 SHV is so turrets don’t get bumped since there is no zero stop and that the scope isn’t fully waterproof with the cap removed.
